I am a PhD Candidate at the University of California, Irvine in the Department of Anthropology and Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Public Knowledge at New York University. During my dissertation research on family politics and the professionalization of elder care in Turkey, I was an affiliated researcher at Boğaziçi University’s Social Policy Forum.  I am also a Contributing Editor at the Cultural Anthropology website.
